I think that boat has sailed, babe.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Until he's being pinned down by hordes of fangirls dressed like ninjas who shave off his hair, he's not quite out of the harbour yet.
Man, I wish people could learn to relax with the metaphors in their AUs. Putting Dean in an abusive relationship with a demonic guy named Alistair and having his new boyfriend Castiel fill him with a practically angelic light and making him feel like he's died and gone to heaven is incredibly stilted and clumsy.
Then again, this is chapter 12. She was pretty clearly awkward in the first chapter. At this point, I blame me.
I love Dean so much: [link] Oh, I love them both. Right now is a Dean moment, though.
I don't know how I never noticed that before. It's adorable. Is that the episode where he gets turned?
No, Sam's hair is way too short.
I have been staring at that first one way too long today.
DORK!!!
Could it be the one with Gordon? Did they have a moment like that, entering a space together?
Man, sometimes I read a bit of enthusiastic meta about something I don't really subscribe to, and I think of every Castiel the imprinted warrior duckling rant I've ever expelled on the internet and feel deeply self-conscious.
But this is where we all get to do that, right?
Yikes.
Could it be the one with Gordon? Did they have a moment like that, entering a space together?
The hair's right, but I don't remember the scene at all, so who knows.
I've been in the mood for gen, so I've been rifling through maychorian's lj. Was reading a really good de-aged Dean fic (potty-mouthed six year olds ftw!), got to chapter 12, and then there's no more. Since 2009. Wah!
For some reason I ended up looking at the D/C tag on AO3, but sorted oldest first. It was kinda weird, but I thought they were just going AU with the vessel choice, but then realising you're reading a WIP that got abandoned about four eps into the fourth season...really frustrating.
I'm not going to believe this without more confirmation, but it does make me tingly in a mostly good way.
I saw that, too! It's so weird to think back the first and second seasons, when you had to feel lucky you'd gotten that much, and here it is at the start of S8.
