It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Because books.

God, he really does look like puppy getting scratched behind the ears. A Great Dane, maybe.

Is Jensen standing on something? Or is Jared bending his knees?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's patently not a picture Supernatural fans are going to fall for. What's the point? It's almost distracting me from Jared getting petted.

Maybe that's why Jensen looks sort of peeved. Poor noodle. Six feet isn't short, Jensen! We know!

He is rather fixated, isn't he?

I just had the nicest SPN D/C fangirl conversation on IO9 with someone who seems to be about the same level of crazy I am. It's really refreshing to bump into people who aren't side-eying you or anything. Like, when you're out in the non-LJ non-tumblr world.

And thank god the IO9 posters just back off and let me crey. Hell, they even leave me SPN-shaped holes to post into. Some of them even caught Show cooties, which is remarkable considering...they are boys and stuff.

A normal person! I mean, as in normal like us? Excellent.

He is rather fixated, isn't he?

On the other hand, it's not like I could stop staring at Jared being petted, either ...

A normal person!

Just think! They could be anywhere!

The other day there was a truly annoying high-pitched noise coming from the A/C at work, and every now and again it would pause, taunting. One of those times the guy over from my cube fell for it, and cursed when it restarted. I laughed at him, and the guy who left a picture of Ruby's knife on my desk yelled "You need to get your knife and stab it!"

Then he asks curse guy if he's ever watched Supernatural, and ALTHOUGH THE ANSWER WAS YES I did not get out of my chair and run over and force him to talk about it.

Mostly because we've never met and I don't know what he looks like and I'm trying to dial back the workplace crazy. Also, I need to skulk by and scope his face so I can start up innocuous fangirl conversation by the water cooler and see how deep it goes...

Well, naturally.

I have to confine all my face-to-face crazy to S. and Ben. They're very patient.

Okay, speaking of crazy a) I am because b) this infidelity fic seems to be written by someone who isn't human, BUT I KEEP READING. She seems to have no idea that infidelity may be wrong. She's not just writing Dean theoretically sympathetically, she absolutely fails to frame the conflict in any way recognisable. Dean doesn't seem to realise there's a choice to be made, and she, just...

Like when she uses the wrong word, I can't get a feel for what she meant to say, there's that little context:

Castiel was more than happy to let the subject go so he didn't say anything to alleviate Dean's worry, he simply sunk deeper into his embrace and sighed competently and hoped it would make everything a bit better

I need the author to guide me a bit more...

Castiel couldn't help but hate her just a little bit for it, he couldn't help but wonder that if she wasn't so pretty then maybe he'd have Dean all to himself. Not to mention that everything Castiel had told him about her indicated that she was an amazing person

But if she doesn't stop writing, I apparently won't stop reading, because I'm sure the next chapter is where everything comes together.

She even has pedantic author's notes where she spells out that there are no humans in her life, but I can't take the hint...

I used to bite my nails, but then one day I just stopped. Now my sister's boyfriends habit of biting his nails is driving me up the walls. I've actually smacked him with a book to make him stop, and apparently my sister has done the same thing couple of times. FYI, violence doesn't seem to be the solution on this case.

Is there something I can install onto Opera that prevents me from going to her URL? I never understood those things when they were about keeping you on track for work, but suddenly frame it in terms of fic compulsions and I need all the external help I can get...

Okay, maybe copping to it here again will help.

Oh, "sighing competently" could be the best malaprop ever. EVER.

Okay, choice #2 is just not fair.
