Apparently some crazy fans (former fans) were planning a hate campaign to try and get Misha fired. I have no idea why, unless it relates to that video of the con, since Jensen says that Misha was the one to say their lines were unmanly.
With fans like those ...
What?
Are SPN fans craxier than most? Or am I just old?
I have no idea if that's the reason they're mounting the "hate campaign," but it's the only explanation I can think of.
I've encountered a lot of people online who think that Misha is a selfish attention whore whose effect on both the key component of the show (brotherhood) and the Js themselves in real life is entirely negative.
I've heard some amazing shit about what an asshole he is for how he runs the Haiti charity, the scavenger hunt, his sarcastic tweets--everything.
I am deliberately trying to avoid that sentiment.
Yes, the Haiti charity is a total dickhead move. @@
He's sucking all the attention to himself, see? Otherwise people would give money to a "real" charity, not a silly charity with celebrity involvement.
Also, there was something wrong with inviting people down to build, and there is both too much and too little transparency into how the money is spent.
Pretty much the arguments are silly enough that I get vicarious embarrassment reading them. Fine, you hate the guy. But please stick to "Well I just do!" instead of trying to support it with porous logic.
I hate people.
Ghostfacers in on TNT right now. I love this episode. "You gotta go be gay for that poor dead intern!"
We need to figure out purgatoratus activities. Aside from scowling at crazy fen.
We could spend all summer discussing crazy fans. I'd totally go round up links...
That might make me a little more ragey than I'd like to be this summer.
Well, Amy, we all know about ita's links. . . click at your peril.
