And you're sure this isn't just some fanboy thing? 'Cause I've fought more than a couple pimply, overweight vamps that called themselves Lestat.

If you are not right, it was eerily timed. In my area it lead immediately to a car commercial. And a quick google shows there is not a sucracorp. So, part of show.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The Sucrocorp ad had the CW logo in the corner. I don't think that happens with real ads.

Glad to have confirmed that Baby's in storage somewhere.

Thanks. Missed the CW logo. This little 19 inch used to work for me, but with my eyes getting worse starting to cause real problems. Can't watch foreign language films (on TV ) any more because the subtitles are too small on this thing. Still OK in Theaters.

Honestly, I found the ad and some of the editing in the caper-explainy-bits to be kind of odd. I'm not sure if it was just not what I expect from SPN or generally kind of off.

I think they were trying to imitate the style of some other show as a reference. I don't think Leverage was what they were going for, but something.

It had an Ocean's 11 feel to me. Sanctuary also employs that sort of framing from time to time.

I have to say, Dick Roman being pushed around by a newbie ghost who could barely move a book last week made the Leviathans even less impressive than they've been as the season has gone on. Next year: DMV clerks are the Big Bads.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

I think that rage made Bobby more effective - didn't the helpful ghost last week say that they had to either be calm or furious in order to move things? I was appreciative of the way that they showed Bobby trying to control his anger and failing - it makes me feel better about the boys' plan to "deal" with him later. I was kind of hoping he could just hang around like Mrs. Muir's ghost but I know that benevolent spirits aren't part of the Supernatural mythology.

When they say "angry spirit crap" didn't Bobby save Charlie's life (even if he also broke her arm)?

Also glad Charlie did not die.

She has died enough for one week.

Probably. That push that threw the lackey into her hard enough to break her arm also put it off balance enough that it couldn't immediately kill and eat her.

SPN is doing a better-than-usual job of introducing useful and interesting allies, though it's still falling down on the "that stay around" aspect. The guest characters are feeling more three-dimensional, like back in the first season.
