I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do you feel that there should have been some further mention of Frank? I mean, other than possibly rolling him into "all our friends are dead!" there's really not been any regret that he's gone, concern that the Leviathans are closer on their tail than they'd thought, wondering if he's dead or alive and needs rescuing, nothing.

Because books.

I guess I'm hoping it will come up soon? I didn't expect a whole mourning montage, because Frank is not Bobby, but it is a little weird that he didn't get a passing mention in last week's episode.

Yeah, I figured he might have at least come up from a practical point of view--unless I missed a mention of him when Dean was looking for help for Sam--did he get mentioned then?

Because books.

I don't think so.

I don't remember specifically - are we sure it was Frank's blood and guts strewn about? I mean, he is pretty paranoid. Would't be surprised to see he'd faked his own death. Not that the boys would necessarily think so, so, yeah, a mention would not have gone amiss.

But, again, I can't remember whether there was something telling us it was definitely Frank. If so, carry on.

I think, though, we're supposed to assume Frank is paranoid enough that no one should have known where that trailer was aside from Sam and Dean. So if the blood's *not* his, and he's gone, they needed to make that clear (and I think they would have).

Nothing said it was Frank, but I think we (and the boys) were supposed to infer that until proven otherwise. Whether or not it was a fatal amount of blood, remains to be seen. Dean's last words were "Not good."

In that ep, Sam's shown driving a pretty new-looking pickup. So far it seems that Sam will steal newish cars, and Dean sticks to stealing old ones, no matter how cheesy they are. Because what in hell was he driving last week?

A Pacer! Awesomely ugly first cousin to a Gremlin! One of the most reviled cars ever, and one I always wanted, by the way. It's the '70s version of the Edsel.

Poor Dean. Come to Mummy. I will make it all better...
