A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I just gotta say I really like the actress playing Meg this go-around. She's got a lovely smarmy way of speaking, while her eyes practically twinkle. She's going to be fun to watch if we see more of her.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Oh yeah, she speaks like the leading lady from one of those Screwball comedies of the 1940s, it's really distinctive.

If anything Cas or Death had mentioned previously suggested that there was a piece of Lucifer embedded in Sam's soul and continuing to torment him, or even a curse inflicted by same that's actively doing something, it would make a lot more sense that it could be relocated and cause the same sort of trouble (with the same hallucinatory avatar, even!) for someone new.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Rachel Miner is the bomb. I've loved and been freaked out by her since her turn in that episode of Life, something about Ziggy and his brother Satan. It was a shock at first seeing her with more weight on her face, and some of my disconnect was "can demons gain weight?". But, she's still not fat, not even chubby-- my god, she must have been anorexic before. But yes, she has a fantastic speech pattern and a sadistic twist of her eyes and mouth that is delightful.

I also kind of love the implication that she was using her kiss with Cas to goad Dean (or maybe I'm imagining things, but there were lines of dialogue and winks and significant glances I thought).

Speaking of women that have (presumably) made out with Cas, did I miss anyone mentioning that Daphne had been notified her jiffy pop husband has recovered his memories and been committed to a mental hospital?

I'd have preferred it if instead of some random woman that fished an amnesiac Cas out of the lake, his wife had actually been Amelia Novak, presumably having been alerted to his presence by a news broadcast about the John Doe authorities were trying to help.

I'm a little weirded out that Cas has a wife, since it's only been a few months. If anything, I'd rather it have been a girlfriend, or even a sweet woman with unrequited feelings for Cas (not because I think Cas needs to remain pure for Dean, it just seems fast).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't articulate the feelings I have for that episode, not at all.

I...Jesus.

Sam!

Cas!

MEG??

Sentences will need to wait. I wonder what Tumblr looks like.

Okay--one thought--Dean brought the trenchcoat from stolen car to stolen car, and he gave it back to him and he put it on for no good reason.

I think I did promise Sera some lawn work for that.

Okay, now I'm gone.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

AWESOMENESS is its own reason.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I want to hope that the amulet is tucked away in something they shift from car to car. I should accept that it is gone, but I don't wanna.

I think I'm gonna have to watch this episode a few more times before I can comment coherently (I've already watched it twice).

I've only watched it once, but I realised as I was waking up that I totally dreamt about it.

Cas! I can't believe....

Okay, so the idea is that he took Sam's memories, and that's why Lucifer is tormenting him? How exactly do you think he healed Sam? Is Sam integrated now, or does he just not have decades of dogbowl hatebanging in his noggin?
