I'd think you'd want a child of American parents born in Canada for the dual citizenship as a bonus shower gift.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Raisin Bran: Just ran across a High School AU story in which Ellen, Bobby, Jo, and Sam take Dean to a PFLAG meeting and he doesn't realize it's for his benefit: [link]
I did not know how badly I needed to read about this situation until someone wrote it!
I'm reading someone's season 6 meta analysis (from a D/C bent, natch) and I'm disagreeing with a lot of the groundwork. They claim that clearly Cas was wrong to do what he did to stop Raphael and the second apocalypse because it didn't work.
But it DID.
It just brought on a slew of other world-ending problems that NO ONE could have anticipated, no matter how much Dean wants to retroactively rewrite the reasons why Cas not listening to him was wrong. Dean didn't freaking know there would be Leviathans.
And then I randomly began likening it to the crap we've done to mess up the environment. Like, hey, we've got this bug affecting our citrus crops, let's bring in the Asian Lady Bird beetle. And then the solution turns into a problem in itself. And a hundred other things we've done in the name of solving a problem, not realizing the consequences. Yeah, hindsight is 20/20, but it's not a a valid reason to say "I told you so" when there was no evidence to support you at the time.
Oh Dean and your ultimatums and absolutes.
Yeah, despite all Dean's "I would have found a better way," the war in Heaven was really way above his and Sam's pay grade, and they've only been able to affect such things in the past when the principals were obsessed with using them as tools. And they've aligned themselves with Ruby, Meg, and Crowley himself when the goal was something they wanted badly for personal reasons, so he'd already beaten the high horse he was trying to get up on to death.
What he should have been blasting Cas for was the deception and spying being a betrayal of their personal relationship, not the taking actions that hadn't been given the Dean Winchester seal of harebrained plan approval.
That is a cute guy, a cute son, and what looks like a practical kitchen, designed to be used. Am jealous on many levels.
The pegboard is a great idea. I need to do that in our kitchen.
West is just a tiny wee bundle of adorable. And probably, in a few years, complete mischief.
Makes me nostalgic for our old kitchen--half one wall was pegboard. I never had cabinet space for pots and pans, and the ceiling was too low for a hanging rack. Every pot we owned, including the iron skillets and excepting the Dutch ovens, which had no hanging rings or holes in the handles, was hung on the pegboard. All the stirring spoons, slotted spoons, roasting forks, tongs, etc., that I had no drawer space for--on the pegboard. We had a screwdriver rack that I hung wooden spoons upside down in. Something to be said for having everything in sight. Kinda shamed us into keeping burned-on crud off pan bottoms, too.
That said? That box shredder needs to be hung higher, STAT.
For the record, his caption is in Korean (despite the accusation of Chinese Christmas tree in the comments), and Google translates it thusly:
Thank you for your birthday outfit! We visit Korea someday and you'll get a cookie
OMG, I so terribly want to send West outfits. But I will not, because that's crazy talk. But I want to dress his cuteness up! Adorbs!
ita ! Do not be that fan!
