They should film that story and show it every Christmas.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Art Crawl!!!

The J's at BurCon.

Roche and Shepard were on stage together and when Roche was pimping Grimm - Shepard said, "Isn't that on at the same time as Supernatural?"

(Got that story from Twitter.)

Because books.

With Family Remains, I think I gave them some leeway for being off their game -- it's not a supernatural creature, and rather than having the victims safely off somewhere, they were right there, and in danger. That said, it's not a very strong episode, although I do still ache at Dean's angst when the uncle dies.

I thought Dean yelling at the girl at school was completely out of character, but I had a hard time with Brock Kelly's Jersey Shore interpretation of Dean from the start (not that he wrote it, obviously, but by then I wasn't buying young Dean very well anyway). I loved young Sam in that episode -- actually, grownup Sam is just as delicious, with the going back to his old teacher and his angsty angst and his faaaaace.

Hey, Patrick from The Curious Case of Dean Winchester was on White Collar! God, he (and his lovely accent) is so hot. I need to get on that Dean/Patrick porn someday.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You could even get away with making him the same character on both shows...

Seriously. Wow, there's an idea.

Now I'm seeing a threeway between Neal, Dean, and Patrick ...

I just started a fic where Dean remembers being five and going with his father to buy something for his pregnant mother.

CANON. IT'S YOUR FRIEND.

I know it's pedantic, but I don't trust an author to get a character, if they didn't pay enough attention to know it's a four year age difference. It's a thing, dammit. A thing.

I should unclench.

I wish the transcription on this was more fluent. It's pretty damn homoerotic, though. Thank you, Matt.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Nice. Though Richard Speight should attend a Stargate convention where they seat Browder and Shanks next to each other on a panel if he wants to know where the bar is set for "most homoerotic Q&A."

I wonder exactly what Matt was thinking about Jensen's lips ...

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

For anyone who still goes to LJ via the main page, there is something VERY spoilery on the "Livejournal Today" section. I already knew the spoiler, but I would have been pissed if I hadn't and had seen that.

7x16 sneak peek: [link]

I haven't heard the audio on it, just looked at the video. And from that, my main takeaway is that Sam's hair is FABULOUS. Haters to the left, baby. WAY left.
