I'm fine with an 8th season, but I'd like the world to not be at stake.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Ugh, I just went and wrote four more paragraphs, but I'm not sure of my facts. I realise I'm getting anal about the weirdest things--how did they get the job? What had the monster done before they showed up?
These things are not important in a one paragraph summary.
Okay, some are paragraphs, some are keywords, some are blank--feel free to toss paragraph summaries my way, Amy.
It is, you know, writing, which is good for you.
You're starting at the beginning, right?
This is harder than I thought. Here are the first two I did:
1.02: Working together now that Sam’s girlfriend is dead, Sam and Dean take a case John suggests, and find themselves in Blackwater Ridge facing down a wendigo.
1.03: Investigating strange drownings, Sam and Dean work with a little boy traumatized by his father’s death who may hold the clues to the case.
Yeah. I've only put in the grid for S1, but I've randomly synopsised eps. I did 1-4 and Route 666. Also Bugs if you count "Who the fuck knows, seriously?" which you might not, for reasons.
eta: Oh, don't worry about giving it away. I'm thinking of summarising, not teasing the eps. But I've been inconsistent. Like way moreso than you were.
The ghost of a long-drowned boy starts to kill the family members of the people responsible for his death. Dean forms a bond with a temporarily mute boy mourning his father and helps bring him out of his shell.
Ya know.
Yeah, I think I'm thinking too much "cover copy" and not really useful for this purpose. It's a hard habit to break.
I have succumbed to watching My Bloody Valentine on SyFy, because I resist Jensen in the Hoodie of Angst.
Aha! Watching the rainbow shart episode, and another teeny fanon thing cleared up, Dean's about to dig into Chinese food with chopsticks, so can we please be a little less monomaniacal about his food choices? I've seen some people verge their Deans on the charmingly xenophobic wrt food, and, well, WITH THE CHOPSTICKS.
Thanks, muchly.
This needs a separate post, but apparently Jensen modelled under the name Jenny Thunder when he was...twinkier? It's a tag on tumblr. Like this.
My everything hurts. Everything inside me hurts. I'm really kind of hoping it's RPFanon.
I don't even want to know, to tell you the truth. Not even a little bit.
can we please be a little less monomaniacal about his food choices?
Dean likes FOOD, not just burgers and pie. Although there is a special place in his heart for those.
And in the episode with the Ginger and Mary Anne ladies? constructs?, it appeared that there is an extra special place in his heart for White Castle burgers. But yes I'd assume he likes a wide variety of food - heavily biased towards road food simply because much of the time that was his only choice. But that would include pizza, Cajun. He canonically appreciates the type of German food you can get at Oktoberfest - not just the beer, but pretty much the whole variety of food. Although not canon, I'll bet at some point he has enjoyed "hopping chicken", just because if you are on the road in the swampy parts of the South sooner or later you will encounter some place that sells it. I'll bet he likes classic diner food - at the least meatloaf sandwich. And there are places on the road where "diner food" includes quail and venison. (I speak from personal experience.)
I don't know if he likes liver and onions, but I'll bet he tried it at least once and decided on the basis of taste and texture, not prejudice. Also there is a huge variety of ethnic food that can be road food, not just Chinese. So I'll bet he has tried a lot of ethnic food.
Also, he has stayed with folks on occasion, so he has tried (and I'll bet enjoyed) home cooking on the occasions when he got it. And even though we mostly see the boys in small towns, hunts do take them to cities on occasion. Canonically, Dean is familiar with where to get the best this and that in various metropolises. So I'll bet even the eating out has not been 100% road food.
