[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Points toward Amy and nods. One of the bonuses of working from home. Added SPN.

Because books.

Absolutely. God bless TNT, man.

Also? If Henricksen hadn't died, I could see the two of them having a very Dean/Cas vibe with the UST and the teaching and bickering.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

::sniff::

I'm still mad at people who file Mystery Spot under "comedic" without totally mitigating it was painEVERLASTINGpain. It's just one of the most heartbreaking episodes, and I'm sufficient hurt by it that I don't actually laugh at any of the slapstick. Just at Dean in the mornings, and only with trepidation.

Jus In Bello is just highly underrated. Man, fuck, I need to watch that more often. That's one of those deaths whose grieving I nurse.

Oh, the beginning of Mystery Spot cracks me up, but it's painful just the same. Especially after the first few, when Sam starts to look more and more desperate.

And Jus in Bello is painful from the start, when you know what's coming -- NANCY. And Henricksen promising to keep her safe, and so game to switch teams and fight the real evil, and then boom.

Not for nothing, the look on Sam and Dean's faces when Henricksen says they'll never see each other again is one of the hurtiest moments.

Okay, I'm making a list of eps to be rewatched soonest that don't impinge on Superwire with bon, and that's totally eligible. I do wish I had it on Blu Ray, though.

Is there a way to set an internetwide alert on these things?

Because books.

I don't think you need to. As far as I know, the only place airing the reruns is TNT, aside from this season's on CW.

No, I mean on the Blu Ray set, for next time it goes on deep sale.

Oh, shit, they're still on deep sale.

Well, rumour has it I'm getting a bonus, so fuck off! Here I come! Entire series in ridic definition!

Oh, Blu Ray. I'm not even there yet, so.

Winchesters in excellent definition is always a good move.

The second season is still weirdly pricey. I mean, alone I mightn't have thought so, but the others are around $20 and this is over $30. It does get me free shipping, though...

Oh, why am I even pretending?

Do it, ita !, do it.

I think Dean's deaths early in Mystery Spot are played light so that his later death hits that much harder. So the first time I watched, I did laugh at the slapstick. But now that I know those are just a run up to the second half of the ep, they aren't as light as they originally were.
