Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

That was my thought. Not as hot as snogging with Cas.

Because books.

You're just bigger. What? I don't know.

Oh, DEAN. So disgruntled.

Sam's line about Bobby -- "Because we want it to be" -- almost killed me. NOODLES.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I floved that Dean and Sam were in my wavelength wrt Bobby. The whole "we want it to be him!".

This ep was far less painful than I thought it would be. Like way far less. Now I feel bad for being all predjudiced and stuff.

And for all that I called Sam doing in Emma ala Amy, I didn't get his lack of hesitation, but I am le tired, and I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Like all the stuff he learned about the daughters killing their fathers. It was just so sudden, and with Sam being distrustful (AMY!) of Dean doing the right thing, I can see it. In the moment I was taken aback.

like, not lime, because the K is so near the M it's ridiculous. I wanted sweet killings, not moss.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

As an aside, I think we DID see evidence of Bobby hanging around tonight. What are the odds that a random breeze would shuffle a bunch of old papers so that a Greek parchment that just so happens to deal with the very case they're working on would blow out where they'd notice it and go for a translation?

Yes, this. Also, "just..don't get killed"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Coulda been Cas!

Emma laid a good line on Dean. She laid...Sam on him. She might have had to fight him in the hallway otherwise. I think he'd have wrapped it up if Sam hadn't come--he wouldn't have been happy, but he'd neither have let her kill nor leave. Riding shotgun is not an option.

But with Sam there, it's suddenly about family. And, yeah, he hesitated, but if it had been between Sam and Emma, Emma dies again. And Sam's not letting Emma leave the room, so it's all tied up.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Everybody already said everything I was thinking. But

You're just bigger. What? I don't know.

is my favorite.

I'd definitely be onboard the Cas-helping-them-out-as-he-slowly-pulls-himself-back-together train. It's possible that nothing but another angel (or Death) can actually kill an angel, and what we saw happen to him in the lake was more like when Balthazar destroyed Raphael's vessel. Inconvenient, but something he can eventually come back from.

Or Dean.
