I realize that I have a dilemna.
I don't want to read PWP. But I don't want read stories rated G.
And yet, that seems to be the offering.
I suppose it's not so much a dilemna as a WTF PEOPLE! Can I please have more options than pure smut and pure fluff? Does it have to be a choice between 123thrust and huggles?
Am currently reading a ginormous non-D/C fic where there's lots of sex-like activities happening and not a single NC-17 scene in sight. It's kind of bliss. (The downside is that I wasn't sure exactly what the characters were doing together until a big-deal scene where they finally kiss, and I was all "shit, they weren't even kissing this whole time?!". There's being "I won't bore you with the details you've read a thousand times" and then there's "I'm not making the characters jump straight to any kind of traditional sexing, but I'm not giving any details that you can even begin to parse". But still, refreshing.

Oddly, I don't like it. I mean, I like the likeness, and I love the mood of the colours, but Sam's pose is beyond weird. It looks good cropped, but then Dean has a point, and Sam's just looking off--I dunno. I want that artist to paint something else.
Daunt keeps referring to cafedelabeill as her sister. This is confusing me.
Also, strangeandcharm's LJ doesn't seem to be there. Am I looking in the wrong place? Have we gone over this? It seems to have been deleted within the past 30 days. Did she move?
