You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's not even winter here, and I don't think I can make it through. I have been betrayed, clearly.

Clearly.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Indubitably.

Because books.

I thought everyone knew this! The night of the last episode, one of the producers tweeted it! (Jim Michaels, I guess?)

I guess I also thought I spread the word. Oops?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sherlock isn't all that. I mean, it's not like it's Community or anything (which I'm pretty sure we must have put someone off by now).

Amusingly (especially as I really do like Sherlock), yes, the chatter on Community was enough that I don't even care to try the show. I don't know if I feel like either I'd failed if I don't love it immediately or they'd have failed, but failure is implied.

Well, sure if you're one of those tweeters.

But, you know, everyone made noise about how Twitter is the great new thing, and now I'm not going to do it...

Yeah, but THEY LIE. They've lied to us before. They'll lie to us again. They don't care about me.

Because books.

Who lies? There was lying?

I do like these little mini breaks better than the hellish two-month ones, I have to say.
