I suspect a pre-show Castiel could be intrigued into answering a prayer from someone who is otherwise invisible to him (it?), and upon finding an anachronistic Dean with masking spells engraved on his ribs by Castiel's own power might be inclined to help. But it probably was best for the story to avoid going that route.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

What they seem to be doing this season is leaving the boys without any easy rescues, too, which I appreciate.
I think if they were going to bring Cas back, they'd need to be focused on him and what happened with the Leviathans, rather than using him as an escape route again, too.

I like to think that he couldn't. Because he's a by the book upper middle rank soldier, and nothing special.
It all started to go downhill the 18th of September (don't ask my why I typed Supertember, just don't) 2008. Until then, he follows orders from above, and coordinates those below.
Sherlock is all about the relationship between Watson and Sherlock, for me.
on topic? my Dean Winchester calendar is finally hanging in my work cubicle. it makes work life prettier.
MY CALENDAR IS NOT HERE YET. I need to chase that down.
Resist the Winchester pull! You can do it!
I'm sorry, but I need to revisit this because it's not fair to ask that of Giles. I mean, could you resist it? Could I? Could any of us? I don't think so.
Here's my thing with Hunger Games... my niece insisted (a long time ago; before I'd heard anyone talk about it) that I read the first couple of chapters at least, and I didn't like it, so I stopped. I have to figure I probably would have gotten into it eventually, given the number of people whose taste my own generally parallels who do love it unto death. But I haven't gotten around to reading it.
I didn't remember last week's show was going to be a repeat, even though it was discussed here at some point, and I was so sad. Is this week new?
I was just checking that, and it appears not. Repeat of the Osiris episode.
Show comes back on February 3. A whole week and a half to go, sadly.
That's irritating. When I checked for Lee, this week was new, wasn't it? DAMN YOU. I CAN'T LIVE THIS WAY.
Yeah, I thought we just had the one rerun for Lee's convenience, but no.
