Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Research.

Important.

Because books.

Research, you say? I take that to mean you're preparing to undertake some fan art.

DO NOT TELL ME I'M WRONG.

::phasers set to distract::

Okay, why did I watch this? Physiologically, it affects me. I can't breathe properly.

Is that thing that Sam knew about whatsisname's piece of clothing true? Either way, how is Dean not looking at him really funny right now?

Amy - Jan 11, 2012 9:13:37 am PST #23530 of 30002
Because books.

Yeah, that's what they're called.

Maybe Dean is used to Sam being a giant geek, and has finally learned to appreciate his big brain?

Because books.

This is lovely. Shades of D/C, with Cas as human, I guess, and Sam there as the third amigo. Really, really sweet and sad at the same time.

No, I don't mean the actual name of it, but how the other guy referred to it. *That* knowledge is dorky in a guy Sam's age.

Oh, that was so sweet, Amy.

I've started chasing fic down, and for some reason stopped reading headers properly. FFnet doesn't have a good method of designating WIPs, so I slammed into a really will-he-won't-he AU D/C with gay panic that actually didn't bother me, and blammo! Ran out of fucking chapters. I'm pissed. It was nice and long and working for me, and now I'm waiting.

I don't mind chapter at a time WIPs anywhere as much as getting 2/3 all at once, and then learning you have to wait. Established expectations of pace.
