Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Well, that sucks. My DVR failed to record tonight's episode. The red record light was on, but there is nothing on my DVR. ::sadface::

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

hmm...i assumed the beer thing was them being a little heavy handed with the whole "Dean's an alcoholic who doesn't even realize how much he drinks" thing.

the Chrissy/Dean scenes were fabulous. so good to see the boys again.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

tiggy, I thought the same at first, and then he lost 36 hours, and then I went conspiracy theory, and then debunked that, so maybe it is just that Dean is so far gone he didn't realize he'd already downed the beer. Makes Tinfoil not blinking at his long nap seem kosher. And yet...

I guess we'll see.

God, I loved Chrissy's reaction to learning Sam had been in college, and the realization that she actually had an option, and then Dean encouraging her . . . Beautiful. It spoke so much of how Dean retroactively felt about Sam's past options. Loved it.

I definitely think there's something timey-wimey going on. The beer, then Dean and Wahtshisname arguing about four weeks v. four days, then sleeping for 36 hours. Something is amiss with the time in Dean's world. Or the rest of the world. Something.

Liked the kid. Though I wish the writers had given her a slightly different line at one point. "Stop treating me like I'm some girl." I would have preferred child, or kid. Just sayin'.

Ooh, that's right, the weeks vs. days conversation. Okay, something's up, and it's not just in the state of Deanmark.

Unless it is, if Dean is the only one out of sinc with Time. (Next week on Supernatural, Time is played by guest star Claudia Black! In a fedora!).

Again, Tinfoil's odd reaction to the discrepancy is . . . odd. And seems outside the realm of weirdness a man accessorizing in aluminum would think par for the course.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

OMG, how could the show have someone with a trucker hat on so soon after Bobby's death? It's like they're mocking those of us who are in mourning. I hate Sera.

Okay, they can't kill this guy right off the bat. He's one of "those Vancouver guys". He's Ian Tracey.

Good God, Dean, that's a really full glass of liqour. Don't change. Never change. Also, be thinky. It's remarkably attractive.

Dean, I love you. You can't possibly understand this enough.

Fuck them for lampshading the drinking. I worry it won't last the season, dammit.

I can't believe they have to cut themselves all the time. Hmm. I just read a story where Dean had to prove his humanity this very way. Good catch, author.

I hate when they split up. Though I'm sure that their sitting around sadfaces will make Wincest vids right away.

There is no pill for my situation, sweetie pops.

"It's a field, not a Death Star" I think I mentioned the love, right?

"Since when do you read?" Sam, this isn't the first time you've had this attitude. Behave, or it's over between us.

Not suffering from vertigo. Just weirded out by driving a weird thing. SO THERE.

OMG, the way Sam's shirt is not good at covering his torso, and those hips showing as he's laid there spread out by those two women…

This kid is cute. And living the dream.

This show, more than most, has people look back at the road. I like the driving vibe.

If she picks the lock, I'm adopting her. Hmmph. Why she gotta?

Dean?!

It would be nice to see him again, as a resource.

Whose version of "Dear Mr. Fantasy" was that? And how much did I love poor Dean's face. Now that I've read the lyrics, they go so well together.

How much time can we work out passed that Frank was working on stuff?

Oh, so the Untouchables guns are next week? And actually Untouchables guns! (I wrote Untouchables in my post about the trailer, but replaced it with Prohibition in case my memory was off some) Dean, with Untouchables machine gun? GOD, HOT.

And I suppose he looked haggard and tired, but I wasn't seeing it. That I was taking on faith. If I just saw him and didn't know him, nope. It'd take some observation to see that. It wasn't Faith levels of crap.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I loved that girl so much.

Art Crawl!!!

Wasn't that actually Traffic doing Dear Mr. Fantasy?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sounded like Traffic to me. Gah, that ending. That song makes me weepy all on its own.

The girl was great.

Maybe the lost time is connected to next week's looks like time travel? Somehow? IDK.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've neither heard of the song nor have no familiarity with Traffic, so they're an allowable answer to the question.
