The Leviathan eating itself reminded me of something that I couldn't remember right away, but it was the way the The First disappeared after it visited Willow in the form of the young girl who said she had a message from Tara.
This reminded me that in passing I also thought of the Langoliers. Now if the leviathans had the Langoliers appetite, they'd be so screwed.
the Langoliers
Oh, yeah! Hadn't thought of that.
I'm on a team with all but one of the people I requested. . . and some strangers.
So far - they seem okay. We have a group of people from the UK (mostly people I signed up with), a couple of folks from Texas and somebody from Kamloops plus me and one other from IL.
Kamloops. Love that name.
Also, we have the antichrist on our team. I believe that gives us a distinct advantage.
POOP, Amy!
I haven't gotten one yet. But I saw the tweet, so...
I wondered why there wasn't much discussion in here, but I just now saw the episode. Other than crying "oh no!", there really wasn't much to say was there?
Stoned Dean is funny.
That's all I got.
Ignore my comment about non-discussion. I'm on my phone and didnt see the new ones. My phone, my bad.
I'm already getting numerous emails from my teammates. They're already making spread sheets and G-docs. I'm so not up for this. I think I'm going to tell them someone signed me up a joke, and then I'll just help you all do stuff.
My personal opinion is that we'll lose Bobby at some point this season. I think it goes along with each of the brothers finally reaching some version of adulthood, a lessened dependence on each other for air, for the reason to keep plodding on. The student must lose (in whatever fashion) the mentor-father-sensei-guide to gain his own autonomy. They tried to do that with John's death, but quickly learned the guys still needed mentoring and subbed in Bobby as father figure. But along with the coping skills the brothers seem to be evolving independently, I think a step away from "dad" could be expected.
I also have always thought that Misha will be back after mid-season--is it March? or whenever spring sweeps are. Whether as Cas, newly-human and on earth for another try at goodness, or as another character altogether, I think he'll be back. Just IMO.
I hope they decide to partner Bobby up with whatshername (crap, Jody?) the sheriff instead of killing him off. I just like her a lot, and she could deal with Bobby the occasional hunter. And that would be a way to have them choose to be less reliant on him rather than his being taken away and their not having any choice about it.
I agree that Misha will probably be back. In all honesty, I haven't missed (not as in "Good riddance!" but just as in, "Oh, right! Forgot about him.") the character of Cas, though I like Cas and would enjoy seeing him again. And Misha. I do enjoy Misha. I just can't imagine they won't do some sort of more extended good bye to Cas, though the way they ended it was fine with me. But so many characters have come back in one form or another, it would surprise me if one of the most popular didn't.
