If Dean is trying to let Sam being his own man, and Dean doesn't have a panic room to lock Sam up in, what is he supposed to do with him?

For meta reasons, I'd be surprised if we lose Jim and Misha so close to each other, but I'm willing to keep an open mind. I'm glad this isn't the mid-season finale, although it's still annoying there isn't an episode next week.

Bobby talks about Dean having an Anne Sexton moment (i.e. suicidal, depressed) when they're in the van while Sam is off doing whatever. Which I should thank Ben Edlund for, not Bobby, but still.

See, Amy, I was all over Dean and his rifle and his jacket. I was watching and actually comparing the two, finding them both hot with their rifles but Dean was just mrmph.

The leviathans bore me, though Dick is deliciously corrupt. I hope he does run for office. I wonder how you could force them to eat themselves all up? That seems efficient. I assumed there were 100s but we've seen the same 5-10 over and over. I guess they're organized and our boys are drawn to the inner circle by coincidence.

I want to know how they get the impala back. I could see Dean cracking as a result of Bobby and deciding to provide a shiny black target for the leviathans.

Sam is almost creepily composed. I'd like to know if the hand injury will come up again in some way, given how much he rubs it.
