Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, yeah. I'm hiding in here.

Because books.

That's my disconnect right there -- when people were talking about the fourth wall, I was like, "What fourth wall?" But I stopped seeing Becky as Everyfan a long time ago. She's a character to me, so I didn't see vitriol against the fans. I saw Becky getting a little too attached to a bad plan in order to impress her high school class.

I would like to know how she knew he'd be in Vegas, if the crossroads demon wasn't helping her find him (he said he was surprised to see she'd married a Winchester, right?), and how they managed the drive from Vegas to Delaware without having to drug him again, although maybe we're supposed to assume that happened.

I guess I don't know why this is any more offensive than what Gary did. He was going to KILL Dean while wearing Sam's body, and did all kinds of things in Sam's body that Sam didn't consent to (even if he wasn't there to protest or know).

I thought it was sort of sweetly ridiculous that Becky was going to all this trouble and yet hadn't tried to sleep with Sam.

Do I want to know where the racist stuff is coming from?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Oh, yeah. I'm hiding in here.

That sounds like a wise, wise choice.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

That sounds like a wise, wise choice.

Very.

I forgot until now how much I was enjoying the boys doing their comedy. Jared had some really laugh out loud moments (being so pleased with Becky's notebook) and Jensen's double take was priceless.

Now that I think of it, I totally would have made that deal for my 10th high school reunion. Walking in with Sam all handsome and adorable. Suck it, cheerleaders.

It's racist because there was a black guy in it, and he didn't end up king of the world. Seriously, I think that's about what it takes for certain contingents. No black villains, no black victims. More black surviors. How about just more black survivors? And let everyone keep their cheques?

Agreed. All I want is slightly Moar Balance, and a few Moar Survivors!

And possibly a hot Asian hunter dude.

And a pony.

They can't afford Ian Anthony Dale, can they? Will Yun Lee, maybe? James Kyson?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I saw Becky getting a little too attached to a bad plan in order to impress her high school class.

That's exactly what I saw. I also saw her ultimately bowing to reality and doing the right thing. So. Rabid fans may be rabidly fannish, but they aren't psycho.

I loved Crowley's crack about having integrity. And we don't know that the crossroads demon doesn't survive whatever Crowley does to him, it seems to me in Hell everybody survives, but very, very painfully. It's not a good example to the others if the offender is just killed, the example has to be front and center all the time. The demon who didn't survive was a white guy.
