the orb of thesulah? nice Buffy shout-out, SPN!
Well Dean, I'm not saying that you didn't need to talk to Sam, but that probably wasn't the best way to do it if you actually wanted him to respond understandingly. (?understandingly? that's not looking like an actual word.)
Hi Ellen! Of course, that prompted Dean to redirect and take it out on Sam.
Dean is especially beautiful tonight, and I'm digging his interactions with the young faux psychic. Not in a sexual chemistry way (and I'm sad that they cheapened it by going there in the end, or at least she and Sam did).
That felt . . . rushed, the reconciliation, the smiles. I liked that they were working together with the tension between them. I could have done without the heavy-handed parallels on *top* of the townsfolk reading them left and right and Ellen delivering a smackdown.
Having to watch on tape delay. Orb of Thesulah was the container for Angel's soul, right? Dean was pronouncing it strangely.
Heavy handed with teh gay tonight.
eta: As soon as he said Ellen, I figured the message was going to be something about kicking his ass.
etaa: Little harsh Dean.
I was TORTURED in a Twitter chat for 90 min., and every other word was either LOL or ROFL. I watched with one eye, and have no idea what happened.
If my editor and I hadn't been texting snark to each other during, I would have killed someone.
Now, to sit and watch properly.
Orb of Thesulah was the container for Angel's soul, right?yup!
Dean was pronouncing it strangely.
yeah...they pronounced it "thes-eh-lay". i'm still considering it a shout-out.
looked up the writers on imdb and this is, like, their first tv writing gig. i was expecting to find a Buffy/Angel connection.
Well, at least we know they (the new writers) have good taste. And they can't be held responsible for how the BOYS pronounce things. They were probably at home cringing themselves.
well...the store owner said it first. i think they were just going with how he pronounced it.
