He looked really familiar to me, too. I'm not sure if he just reminds me of Alan Cumming on teh Good Wife or if I am remembering him from Andy Richter Controls the Universe. He's been in a bunch of stuff: [link]
I really enjoyed this episode. I was chortling and clapping my hands with glee at Dean singing along with Air Supply, perhaps that elevated the other scenes by association.
For getting to watch the Js play evil!Sam and Dean (and then snark about them) alone, this episode was awesome.
But we also saw Bobby getting some Very Definite Signals from Sheriff Mills, and one way to almost!kill the Leviathans, as well as a new plot twist in the form of the LeviaBoss, who's clearly running for office. That's an interesting development.
The ending was nicely angsty, if a little reminiscent of S1, but the promo ruined it. Sigh.
I liked it all but didn't see any promo so maybe that was good.
What does the title refer to? Because I'm not getting it. (Even if it's not fanfic-type slash, I didn't think this ep had any more people/mosnters dying than normal.)
I think it was sort of a play on Pulp Fiction, but here they're "slashers".
I guess it also explains Jensen's slash fiction answer in that interview.
I sort of hope so, honestly.
The Pulp Fiction allusion seems pretty clear. Who do you mean are "slashers", Amy?
He said "slash fiction" so quickly and confidently I was really thrown. Now, not so much.
It's like a slasher flick. All the violence, killing spree?
I think it was a play on the title without a lot of thought, but I could be wrong.
Yes, slasher movie - not what we call Slash fic. (But if you wanted to tease the fans. . .)
