Clones?
I read spec that the Leviathans actually take on the Winchesters forms in order to manipulate the police/feds to do the legwork for them in finding them.
I wonder if the Leviathans are doing anything else other than eating and looking for the boys. Do they have a nefarious plan? Are they going to eat the whole petrie dish, or are they content to feed discreetly?
Marsters looked...odd. something about his chin.
Yeah, that was distracting. I did like how subdued he was. No Spike at all, except for that one smirk.
I don't know how Dean and Sam were going to kill either of the Starks after the chicken feet thing didn't work. I think if they had another way, and the chance to use it, they probably would have gone for it.
The "talk it out" theme was a little anvilicious, but all is forgiven for the chance to see Cordelia and Spike CC and JM working together, and with the Winchesters. There wasn't a lot of there there, except for the side note that the Leviathan is still on their tail. Lots of fun moments, though.
Watching the actual scene as opposed to the goof was a nice little bonus, too, especially when you see how much Jensen ad libbed, and changed the (third? fourth?) "Lance Armstrong" to "Mary Lou Retton".
Sam and Dean have been consistently reluctant (or well, mostly Sam) about killing witches, right? Or is that too much fanfic in my brain?
I don't remember enough to speak to that. Have there been witches besides that one ep?
There was Patrick, the hot Irish guy. They didn't kill him either.
I can't think of any other witches beyond that, though.
I think fanfic is where most of the witches (and curses) live, and they usually do let them off.
well Patrick was unusually nice for a witch (in the Supernaturalverse), and played fair with his victims. These witches were casual killers. I think if they could have taken them down they would have.
It's kind of varied based on the witches' M.O. in the past. Patrick was letting people bet their years against him of their own free will. They did intend to kill the witches in "Malleus Maleficarum" until they found out that they were Tammy's dupes, and were pretty quick with the trigger in "It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester" as well.
Gunshow last night, from Chicago Con this weekend. There are twitpics of Jared carrying Speight out over his shoulder. Karaoke following BBB was apparently fun.
That photo is beautifully lit and oddly artistic.
Wow, I was at the karaoke party & totally missed that!
It was a blast & lasted til well past two. You can imagine how much fun it was to get up early to get tix for today. Matt & Richard were hilarious and so were Mark and Sebastion. Now waiting fir Misha.
