Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Because books.

In this morning's rerun news, I want Dean to run into Patrick (from the aging episode) and ask him to find out what happened to Castiel (or do a spell or something), and then have angry, grieving, hot, solace sex. Or something like that.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I like the way you think, Amy. Shocking, I know.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Excerpts from the SPN S6 companion focussing on Castiel and The French Mistake.

Because books.

The double-s spelling of Cas baffles me. Cas works just fine. Why add a letter?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Why add a letter?

To make me cry.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I just got partway through a D/C BB story with no Sam.

ita, I don't know if you finished that one, but Sam shows up, there's alternate timeline hijinks going on, but otherwise the story sucked balls.

Finished apotkeino's story (thank you Blackberry and bushes at work to hide me while I read!). It was good, although I guessed the mystery of Dean from the get-go (I thought of you when it was confirmed, and how you'd hate it) (I don't think it was meant to be a huge twist, and I think it helped that it was telegraphed oh so subtly). But it was handled differently from other instances of it, less pat.

Starting the 1930's mafia fic, so far no Dean, but it is awesome.

Yeah, I finished it, and it sucked big time. The characterisation was shit, the resolution was gibberish, and it was just generally creepy.

Does apotkeino have powers!Dean? I'll probably try reading it anyway.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Yes to your spoiler font. You can guess the specifics as you read it. It's the option that every single character refrains from speculating on. I feared for several chapters that the D/C would be forced, and it does eventually seem a bit rushed, but when it's there, it's solid and an integral part of the plot and story. Good, if vague, spy story. I heart Cas so much in this story (oh, the whump, the angst! the desolate despair!).

eggs: hmmm, suddenly leery of mafia bigbang. There's dubcon that makes Dean look like a horrible kid and Cas look too broken for my tastes.

eta nope, nevermind the above, it was excellent and appropriately gritty.

Because books.

Reading a story in which Bobby's email is peachcobbler@gmail.com. Heh.
