For meta reasons specifically, I can't see them turning Bobby into the big bad *or* killing him right now -- that's a lot of action at the very beginning of the season, and a lot to live up to. But that's just my feeling.

It looked to me like the house was the real victim, and there are other buildings on the salvage yard property, even if they're just sheds. So I could see him sort of camping out in one of those for a while. I don't really see him rebuilding -- that's a lot of work and interaction with civilians on a daily basis, and I don't see him putting up with that.

I don't even know how much we're supposed to think Bobby actually does with the business anymore -- the long ago once in a blue moon call from the boys has turned into them more or less living there when they're not on a case.

I keep thinking Bobby saved the books and he's taken them over to Sheriff Mills' house for safe-keeping.

I also keep having this terrible thought that Sam was the last one at Bobby's and what if in his delusional state, he started the fire.

Oh, I think the leviathan guy definitely started the fire. He made it clear Sam and Dean were a threat he was told to take care of.

It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't have insurance, figuring that anything that might hurt the house would be either too weird to explain to an insurance company even with a cover story, or would take him out at the same time, or both. I'm sure he could abandon the property and disappear if he wanted to, but I don't think he'd want to. But I don't see him rebuilding, either, not the same house, anyway. Putting in a bunker, a panic room for living in, yeah, I can see that.

Also that "turning on the GPS" is shit. That just means the phone is placing its own position. Unless Dean has an app that reads Sam's phone, or something.

It's at the cleaners. You know, to get the lake water out, so he could keep it stored. For the memories. Or, you know, eventualities.
