Um. I realize I'm watching a different show, or watching differently, or something. But I thought I'd mention a point in the show I noticed. When Dean told Bobby's voicemail that if Bobby was gone, he was going to strap Sam in and drive the car off a pier? He could more easily threatened to shoot Sam and then himself. By *driving*, he was taking the car with them. Without Bobby, there would be nobody to look after her, either. All the Winchesters, one grand gesture, and he'd obviously given it some thought.
Okay, sorry to distract from the fic and stuff. As you were.
Ah, Beverly, brilliant! I had not put that all together. Of course he wouldn't leave Impala by herself with no one to care for her.
I liked the ep a lot. First of all, I find the leviathans creepy as hell and kind of entertaining. I am curious to see what their org chart looks like. Sounds like there is a big boss. I loved seeing the sheriff again, and if I ever had an OTP for Supernatural, she and Bobby are it. I believe with all my heart that Bobby is alive, and they are going to charge in to save the day next week. Completely unspoiled speculation, of course. I think I connect with her more than I did with Ellen even, may god strike me down. Probably because she's not a hunter, but she's game -- she didn't stick her head in the sand and was smart enough to keep Bobby's number!
JP is doing a magnificent job with Sam's trials. Good god. Breaking my heart.

I keep telling myself that either Bobby called them while he was still on the road, so he wasn't home when the explosion happened, or that he somehow managed to get to the Deeemonic-proof (and hopefully explosion proof) Panic Room.
Y'all did see the keys in Sam's hand, right, when he and "Dean" pulled up at the "office building"? When "Dean" was driving the "Impala"?
Also, I could use more quotation marks. I *could*!
My biggest fear right now is that while Bobby wasn't blowed up with his house, the Leviathans' boss
has
found itself a very convenient new host.
I really, really hope that doesn't happen, but the thought got into my head and wouldn't leave.
Anne - your brain is evil. I hope you are wrong.
"I will never lie to you. I will never trick you." Promises from Lucifer the first time he talks with Sam.
From a meta point of view, I can't see them pulling both Bobby and Cas away from Sam and Dean. Dean's vow to erase the WInchesters from the face of the planet might have been hyperbole, but that seems like quite a lot. Perhaps the Leviathans understand that Dean and Sam are important foes, and they want to have leverage.
Completely off topic, but how often do people actually get knocked out from a blow to the head, or a punch in the face?
People on TV seem to be conveniently unconscious a lot.
If you can rock the head so that the back of brain slams against the brain pan, you maximise your chances for unconsciousness. What is most unconscious on TV is how long they stay out (conveniently long), and how cleanly they come out of it (very).
