"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

AHAHAHA! Someone bribe a vidder to make an unironic Castiel farewell montage to Hallelujah, STAT.

I expect to see one. Ugh. I can't even. Everybody dies on this show. Several times. And craxy was all "there weren't any wings so he's really not dead". Um, his vessel exploded under water. We wouldn't have seen the wings anyway. Maybe they were there. Luckily SHOW doesn't care about death (not Death, who we love) so he could be back at any time. I'd be less worried about Dean if he died than him with a broken leg. Somehow in my mind, that makes sense.

Because books.

Well, we didn't actually see it explode, although I guess we can assume it. But Anna made a deal to get her old body back, so I don't know why Cas couldn't.

Chuck!God does seem fond of him, although now maybe not so much.

His vessel has exploded at least once before. Not a big deal on the show. It'll be back if he wants to be back. Hell, John came back after he was cremated. Well, for a few moments. All my favorite characters have to come back from being dead and I'm not worried I'll never see them.

eta: They must be conserving FX monies because Casplosion is one of my favorite things to watch. Not really favorite, it's just cool. And it doesn't make it permanent.

Kneel before Glod. ~Stephen Colbert

Did the CGI of the leviathans' remind anyone else of Legendary Black Beast of Aaaaaaauuugh of Monty Python and the Holy Grail? Or any Tim Burton flick?

Because books.

I'm mostly ignoring the leviathan mythology so far, because it was a little messy. I mean, there's a boss, but where is he? And why didn't everyone who drank the water turn? And then why did the little girl turn into the doctor, like a shapeshifter?

I hate when it's not set up well, with specific rules.

I did like that the leviathan seemed to know very little about the human world, which seems right if they've been locked in purgatory pretty much forever.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cas didn't necessarily explode. We have no idea what happened to his body. He might have dissolved, leaked out the black goo, become a vortex of evil, many things. But we didn't see any evidence of an explosion.

And then why did the little girl turn into the doctor, like a shapeshifter?

I think they can do a thing to a person in order to steal their shape and memories--that's what the swim team guys did to the two other hospital employees.

And why didn't everyone who drank the water turn?

Maybe that's as many leviathans as there were?

I love the Leviathan doctor and the Latino Leviathan guy. I've always liked those actors.

Good guest starrage next week, too. Unfortunately she's another actress I've heard first hand bad things about, but I try and ignore them when I watch her stuff, because she can be quite charismatic.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am intrigued by the leviathans. They seem like they are shaping up to be mostly appetite - they all keep saying how they are always hungry, and Death mentioned that they were locked away in Purgatory so they wouldn't "eat the whole petri dish". That could be interesting.
