Because books.

Oh, yeah. MBV has the worst ending EVER. Hated it.

I actually really enjoyed the remake of Friday the 13th. And I sat through Devour, which is more than I can say for The Christmas Cottage. I made it through about twenty minutes and wanted to puke.

Hell, I sat through House of Wax, and Jared was dead halfway through it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I slept through more of The Christmas Cottage than Devour, but I was on drugs for Devour, so there's that. House of Wax was okay. They need to make movies in genres I actually enjoy, though. Enough of stepping out to follow my faves. They need to come to me.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I watched Flight of the Phoenix for Jared. Spent the last two-thirds of the movie expecting him to wander back, but I guess his character was really most sincerely dead. Oops, was that a spoiler?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

gorgeous D/C art by gikun [link] The rest of the post pisses me off, though. Seriously? SERIOUSLY?

She's a ridiculously talented artist, although I'm not always feeling the emotions--but I think that's good, because she's a nutjob crazyfen I don't actually want on my side. She's the hugging pillow chick who wanted to send one to Vicky.

I'm pissed off at all of the slice of D/C fandom that's pissed off with the Cas's departure. I just really don't want to read it. His vessel is of unknown status, and we had Dean almost cry about his departure and keep a token of his presence.

Which may well have gone up with Bobby's house, but still.

Bobby's house! No more home base for boys. Back to all motels and squatting all the time.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Between burning down Bobby's and dissolving Godstiel into old school monsters, it really is like they are taking things back a few seasons, in a good way.

Because books.

It puts me off because of the tone, honestly. "CASTIEL!@!!! BUT I LOVES HIM!!!!1!"

When you sound like a thirteen-year-old having a tantrum, I'm not taking you too seriously.

I think the show has been pretty clear about making goodbyes permanent when they need to, and last night was not for Cas. I think we'll see him again, one way or another, even if it's not much, or long.

I think what peeves me is that they're screaming about how he didn't get a "proper sendoff," but what do they want? We've had several Cas-centered episodes, and a Jimmy-centered episode! And Sam and Dean and Bobby all fighting to save him, and showing grief that's he's gone.

Do they really want a montage, with weepy music?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

OMG! MONTAGE! SARAH MCLAUGHLIN! OR HALLELUJAH!

AHAHAHA! Someone bribe a vidder to make an unironic Castiel farewell montage to Hallelujah, STAT.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

SARAH MCLAUGHLIN! OR HALLELUJAH

I wonder if Sarah McLaughlin has done a cover of Hallelujah...
