From TV Guide and in answer to the question about Lucifer, Sam and the ex-wall:
Please tell me everything that's happened over the last two seasons of Supernatural is not just in Sam's head, as Lucifer indicated in the premiere. — M*****
[SPOILER REDACTED]
Marcia, that's a spoiler, so I yanked it. But you can repost in the spoiler thread (it's too specific for Lite).
The feeling is mutual. (But you have to imagine Teri Garr saying it in Young Frankenstein.)
Has anyone else seen the speculation about the meaning of Sam's bandaged hand?
People on Tumblr are going wild about how it was cut on broken glass from the bottle of purgatory blood, and how it stayed bandaged through the whole episode even though weeks passed. And how that must MEAN SOMETHING!
My gut reaction is they forgot the time period of the episode was weeks, and forgot about the bandage. What else would it mean?
Pieces of glass got worked far enough under the skin that they're still emerging painfully weeks later? A friend of mine had that happen (substitute months for weeks) when she accidentally put her hand through a glass door.
Also, substantial abrasions heal quite a bit more slowly than clean cuts, in my experience.
See, there you go!
The wild fen all seem to think it has some Dire Meaning, and Sam now has angel and virgin and demon blood in the mix, and maybe that's what caused his hallucinations, and and and ...
I'm not buying it.
In unrelated news (When the Levee Breaks is on TNT now), blood-drinking Sam was stupidly hot.
In addition to the bandage, there was a close up of his hand being cut by the glass. Just to make sure you knew exactly what happened. I kidna think there is something there that will come up later.
