Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Death is even more awesome on the rewatch. "I know God, and you, sir, are no God." Hee.
I love that Death doesn't take any crap from the boys. Dean starts to speak, and Death says, "Shut up,Dean." Like they have already wasted enough of his time and he knows what they would say anyway.
He's really marvelous.
It's interesting that he's the one character in all of creation that Dean doesn't talk smack to.
I think Dean will talk lightly of Death (and by lightly, I just mean of the idea that it has sway over him, not that it's a big deal) to people like Roy and Walt, but in the face of the Horseman he realises how much shit he's gotten away with, and how his card could be yanked at *any* time. If he'd never died at all, maybe he wouldn't be so terrified.
I do like that he thought of pickle chips, and that he was right, and that Death liked them, but was not swayed for shit. It's possibly the most obsequious thing we've seen Dean do.
Ooh, the shippers are exploding! My Saturday morning giggle: reading the W&P over at deancastiel.
...enough of that. TWoP is all over the map. What stood out was a comment about "finally, the Cas Show is over". Bwuh? Dude's hardly in it.
strangeandcharm noted that the stained glass window of Godstiel is from a season 5 promo shot, and he's still clutching his cell phone. Hee!
Rewatching, Dean should wear grease smudges more often.
"Trenchcoat on a tortilla."
I was just downloading the ep over on iTunes and they have the S7 cover, which I can't link to but hadn't seen before. I like it better than last season (pretty!) but Sam has red eyes which makes me hope something bad isn't going to happen to him with Lucifer.
I have only once tried reading the W&P at deancastiel. That might be my ship, but those are not my people.
I can't get over how much people who hate Cas blew up his presence on the show, as well as people who love him. He was a regular, but he didn't show up that often, and he didn't stay that long. He was an *important* regular, and there are certainly cases to be made for him being more important to plot than Bobby, but the show has never been all about him.
Man, the screaming of some fans when he got one episode dedicated to his PoV in S6. You'd think Sam and Dean had disappeared off the earth, never to return.
Tracy-loo-who's picspam was fun--she's a crazy shipper with a sense of humour that loves Sam. Most entertaining sort to read. I think it was her that pointed out that the first thing God1Cas cleaned up was the homophobes. No reason.
Considering that D/C only exists in fic, my ship is not rocked by canon. And I am absolutely thrilled that Godstiel (as much as I loved how different he was as God), was resolved so quickly, and am sooper excited that Misha gets to sink his teeth into being actually scary. Maniacally scary!
I love right from the start how Jared really showed how not alright Sam is. From the shaky "I'm fine" to how he stood up from the kitchen table. Just so awkward and coltish, like he would collapse at any moment.
I'm still unclear as to how Bobby interpreted Sam's behaviour in the basement since he doesn't bring it up when he's talking to Dean about him.
I thought it was clear Bobby was worried *because* he brought up Sam's well-being with Dean. I just think he wasn't specific, because telling Dean, "I found him crouched in the basement holding a wrench like a weapon and looking like he'd seen every ghost ever" is not bound to go over well.
I loved how Dean not only bought the pickle chips and soda, but arranged it neatly beside the comfy chair, and made room on the table and all that. Adorable and completely kiss-ass.
Considering that D/C only exists in fic
What? Next you'll be saying that Sam and Dean wouldn't be having sex if the show were on HBO.

I laughed at myself during this scene because at first, I thought it was Dean's food and I was like, "Dude, whole new level of getting your cheeseburgers". Once I saw it was for Death, I was way more impressed with the thought Dean had put into it.
