I am the fly who dreams of the spider

So now I'm rewatching Cas vids and, man, of all the angels, Cas has the farthest to fall. Maybe that's not fair to say, just because Michael's faith in God was corrupted first. But as of seasons 4, and 5, Cas was steadfast. And later, in season 6, Raphael's faith was that of one who had an agenda and twisted the PTB's agenda to suit his own. Cas's faith in God, then his heartbreak over His absence, and the misguided shrugging on of responsibilities to preserve what he believed his Father to hold dear. . . I'm maudlin, and a Cas fan . . . forgive me.

It's moments like this that make me think: why is Cas so awesome? Why did he strike a chord? What if it was Balthazar or Gabriel who filled the role. Would the glomming (or the hatred) be the same? Is it Misha?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think it started with a combo of the character and Misha playing him, but we glommed onto Misha and *boom*

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And Dean. I mean, the way they ran Castiel's transition of belief from God through to Dean, with the anger, disappointment, betrayal--all that heightened emotion coming from a being fueled on pure belief--and now converted to something that requires others' belief as fuel.

I love it to pieces.

Because books.

There's something very powerful about an outsider, but one who *is* powerful. It's the alien trope, really.

Also what ita said about Dean.

Misha's latest tweet, literally a minute ago:

Yeah! The 7th season of the reality show about the two mentally-challenged underwear-model brothers trying to impress God, begins tomorrow.

Well, I expect to see underwear, then.

Amy, and anyone else that signed up for Reverse Bang, the pictures go up Monday, but claiming is Thursday.

THIS IS GOING TO KILL ME. Why do writers get so much longer to look at pictures than artists get to read summaries?

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I luvs teh MishMish

I think that was the overall posting after the start of Season Four. "Damn, who is that guy?"

Amy - Sep 22, 2011 4:44:21 pm PDT #21508 of 30002
Because books.

So Monday we can start looking at them but we can't claim till Thursday? That's ... weird. Marking it down, though.

He's creepy charming. And I mean that as a total complliment.

I always end up out of town for the season premiere. With no idea of my viewing options.
