Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Is anyone else having lj problems like this? I mean, I catch that I wrote decent instead of descent, and have to reformat the whole thing because it's turned into a block of text or because it decided to center justify everything when I hit lj-cut. Which doesn't sound that bad until it's me re-entering into the post one or two or three times to fix a double period, change a single word, add a link, and
every time
the formatting is f***ed.
Sorry, is this Natter, Tech, Fic? I just don't know why LJ is giving me such trouble.
You guys see all the interviews and videos and so on before I do, and this is old so you've probably read it already but just in case: there's a lj user named tightropegirl (real world name Doris Egan), who if her lj is accurate has been a writer for Dark Angel, Smallville, and Tru Calling, among other shows. She's a big JA fan, and here she wrote about how when she wrote the "Pollo Loco" episode of Dark Angel they were having difficulty casting the character until JA walked in, and she was blown away by his reading. After that she wanted him for roles she created on Smallville and on Tru Calling (and there was even a character named Jensen on Tru Calling.)
I have read that before, and I'm not sure it was linked here. Always worth reading again, thanks!
I love (hate) the part where the producer made him gain weight because of his preconcieved opinions.
Juliebird, are you using the Rich Text Editor? I've heard that tends to add all kinds of ferwonkedness to posts.
Ooh! Thank you for that link, Morgana!
I am, Anne, because I'm copying and pasting from Google docs into LJ. And I wasn't getting these problems before the attack on LJ. I can't deal with html on a good day, let alone on two thousand words in a tiny little box with html tags. I dunno, that seems even more frustrating. How do you input a story into LJ that isn't actually typed there to begin with?
I usually do all my html coding within the document itself. It's a lot easier to see what I'm doing. Also, if I have to correct the coding/typos, I'll go back to the document and make the fix. Then, I'll re-paste the whole thing.
hmmm... grrr...
Thanks, Anne.
I just wish I had an easier fix to suggest.
Julie, I'd recommend running your stories through spellcheck. I noticed a few typos in there.
As for other comments, I don't know how it will work out when you read the entire chapters together, but the fragments seem a little unbalanced re: mystery/romance. This last one was a lot of infodump, for instance, with very little personal stuff, either D/C or Sam. Just a note.
Still enjoying it!
Thanks, ita! I'm going to blame it all on typing and posting when I'm falling asleep or haven't woken up yet. Alcohol might be involved. I'm also looking nervously at the next part which is mystery-light and relationship-heavy.
Okay, I have mastered all of the html but for the friggin' font size! Font face is TNR (in case that makes a difference), but when I switch over to Rich Text, size 7 is HUGE but when I submit it, it's tiny.
On topic: Season 7 opening song?
