If y'all twitterites are finding me posting the pics here redundant, tell me and I'll stop. I'm not on twitter; I'm picking these up from a couple of LJ comms and the flist, so I don't know what people who're on twitter have seen and have not.
Also, my Tumblr is not at all fannish, because I just can't filter that much input.
But the pictures? It's just my nature to share the wealth. As it were. You're welcome. *g*
Also, in case anybody was wondering, that's Phil Sgriccia (however it's spelled) on the steps in the shade in front of JA, Clif and JP are behind him, at the foot of the steps.
I'm not on Twitter and have very few fannish LJ comms (though I'll take recommendations), so I appreciate the links.
Behind the scenes.
Mmmm
The man does look good from behind, doesn't he?
Absolutely nummy.
eta - not to shabby from the front either. IJS.
I appreciate all the links here; it's all I get.
Behind the scenes, indeed.
Personally?
Fannish. But stealth-fannish.
Jollysnidge is trying to make me okay with Wincest, and no, it's not going to happen. I feel terribly for all the characters in her story, but it's not okay. I'm narrow-minded like that.
ita, I'm trying to imagine the story being posted in one go as complete, and how it would have read if the warning for incest had been there from the beginning, and I can only think that there would have been dread on the anti-wincesters, waiting for Dean and Sam to begin something inappropriate, or John to turn into a rapist, and the wincesters ending up disappointed that it wasn't who they thought was meant, and the whole fic, that I had been really enjoying thus far, being totally undermined.
I'm also totally not buying the preacher's reaction.
I agree with Matt that the biker w/ pit bulls idea would be cringe-worthy, but there would probably be a way of making the thing as primal as it needs to be without going too deep into the SFX budget.
You hear them but don't see them most of the time. The way they handled hellhounds but with an occasional glimpse. But where the terror of the hellhounds was mostly being trapped by something you could not see, the terror of the wild hunt is being chased by something you can just barely keep ahead of but know will get you eventually and are terrified that eventually is now, Most of the focus is on the prey, not the hunt. That would keep costs down and I think could be scary as hell.
I'm also totally not buying the preacher's reaction.
Sweet Jesus no. I mean, I kept reading because I thought she'd pull a mistaken identity out of it, but when the incest warning went up on the front, I guessed that was out of consideration. Then I kept reading for the ruins...and now this? Sure, there are plenty of people that read D/C and read incest stories, but I really don't appreciate getting suckered into a story that's both. Because I'm
not
one of those people.
Yet I'm still reading her Resident AU with bated breath. Everything seems so innocent.
