Plei, the gen fic that immediately leapt to mind was Wrong Time from last year's summergen exchange. Yes, it has been jossed, but it is wonderfully haunting.
From this year's big bang, there's Muted Light, which is centered around "Appointment at Samarra." I'm not quite done reading it, but so far it is excellent. Also, I am so tickled that you have my fic on your to-read list, I can't even tell you. I hope you like it.

The idea that Dean or Cas would ever look askance at anyone but each other. I suspect it was the same author or same clique fixing both "missteps" in quick succession, but it was really nasty each time, and I need to PAY ATTENTION TO AUTHOR'S NOTES.

Misha's episode of NCIS was on tonight. I love how pathetic he is on it--I turned on the TV right in the middle, so I missed the part where he hits on Colin's ex. Which is always good times.
