Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

Castiel in the Impala would be awesome. Castiel in Sam really bothers me though - given all of Sam's issues and Castiel's issues with Sam and Dean's issues with both of them, I just can't see that happening.

Because books.

Cas using Sam as a vessel seems rife with possible squicks. If it's Dean/Samstiel, people who don't read Wincest probably won't go there, because it's simply Sam's body, *or* Sam aware and consenting while Cas and Dean do whatever, and that's like ... a weird threesome.

Squicks is it exactly. I read Wincest but not Dean/Castiel so that plus the non-con aspect plus the feeling that it can't possibly end well for any of them means I find myself grimacing just thinking about it.

I had forgotten about the quote death match last summer. I also can't think of many particularly memorable lines from this season - were there?

Because books.

Sure! SuperWiki has quotes for each episode, and a lot of them are excellent. The fairy episode alone has a bunch.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Trust my rage

Was the profound bond line this season?

Eta: I think "they were never in fact homeless" is my all time favorite line. Would love to know who wrote it. Tim used to tell us that stuff I think

The profound bond was this season, 6.03. Also, Cas's air quotes on his "people skills" being "rusty." Heh.

Kripke is the one credited with writing the script of Swan Song.

I should know that because of the whole Kripke!Chuck thing.

I was thinking today that Joss has really conditioned me to expect maximum pain. But the SPN team seems more willing to make fans happy. So maybe there is hope for Cas.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

So maybe there is hope for Cas.

I have a feeling that whatever we get is going to be as bittersweet as the best chocolate. A positive outcome overall, but with a bite to it.

Also, I am now plotbunnied with Impalastiel. I do not need this right now.

I'm about to watch The Resident, due entirely to Sir.

I assume this is called taking one for the team, but I honestly want to see it.
