I am the fly who dreams of the spider

That fic suggested that I listen to Kane's atrocious version of Fast Car. Went in search of Ackles singing The Weight to compensate. Hot damn.

I think in the latest con panel or one of the interviews for season 7, there was a question on how they'd continue/top the meta episodes of past seasons.

I think it's time for a musical.

What?

Pizza: random youtube linking:

Mouthwash by Loki [link]

It calls itself a J2 vid, but it's a surprisingly well-done vid using a lot of gag reel, interview and fan footage, as well as Show, and a lot of thought and energy put into the clips placement and editing, not just the smorgasbord that I thought it was going to be.

Trust my rage

I love the picture if them together at 1:10.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am theoretically against J2 vids using canon Show footage. That's Sam and Dean, not Jensen and Jared. It's...a thing.

However, that was a cute guys are great! vid. I didn't get shippiness off it much.

Man, I hate finding an old multi-chapter story, reading, and then realising it's not complete. At least if they're new, there's some hope the writer is active and will finish it.

Because books.

Whatever happened to the kitchen mafia story? That was so good.

She says she'll finish it. I believe her.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

farofixer (rosaline kells) posted to say that she's deliberately taking time off from her Rebel Rebel D/C AU because of RL issues and stress, but she's not abandoning it. I wanted to cry and leap for joy.

I'm eyeballing a superhero WIP with interest, but it seems to be in the early stages and I've kind of learned my lesson with WIPs and have gained enough willpower to resist until I see the question mark disappear from the "how many chapters?" part of the slash.

nanoochka has disappeared once again. I don't get the warm fuzzies about her, but I also don't like the fic as much, so that's probably it. I don't generally hesitate on clicking on currently in process WIPs. It's the old ones I need to avoid.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I am now more likely to not click when I see nan's updates. I have even gone so far as to be disillusioned when I see who's beta'ing for whom, because I distrust the influence of nan and cautionzombies and a few others who seem to egg each other on with the navel-gazing and pointlessness.

HOWEVER, strangeandcharm just posted a ginormous post-6-22 fic, is excited!!!

I read the first third, and now we have to wait! It's WIP on topic!
