Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ugh. Petite Madame drew a (characteristically brilliant) picture of amputee Dean, and now I'm all sadface. God, I hate when people do that. And for some reason pictures are worse than words.

Because books.

No link? I want to see it!

I'm sufficiently disturbed that I'm not willing to go back for the link. I saw it on her tumblr, but I bet it is also at her lj: [link]

Aw, yeah. That's rough. DEAN.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

just finished All Your Yellow Brick Roads.

I'm kinda pissed. It's hella way long, and the tone is freaking dreary, and at the end, I had to read in the comments that prettify plans to "clear things up" with later stories. So all that time I'm reading, thinking I'm going to get answers, none of any of it is resolved. Except for a bit of Dean and Cas slow burn.

eta but it's good, well written, I like how the evolution of the D/C was handled and written. I just couldn't stay trapped in the perpetual funk.

Okay, maybe I skimmed it starting halfway through and missed a lot of pertinent details, but I just really needed to be finished with it.

For some reason I've been avoiding that story. Now I'm even more ambivalent.

Man, I can't even look at the thumbnail on P-M's LJ. Jesus, that's a weak spot for me.

Yeah, I've wounded Dean in fic, but that? Too much.

I in no way rec that fic, but I can't trash it, either. Apparently the beta had prettify cut a lot of stuff out due to rambling. It could have been really good with 50,000 less words.

Oh wait, snap.

I just found it open in a tab in one of my browsers. Now I'm tempted.

Okay--fanon: Does Bobby ever call Cas "Feathers"? Does Dean ever say he should put a bell on Cas' neck?

So I'm reading the artist's note to an unremarkable picture, and they say (amongst many other things):

"Carry On My Wayward Sons" played at a Season recap either before Seasons 4 or 5

What? Do you not watch the show? How can you forget it's at the end of the seasons? All of them? Never mind getting the song title wrong. I get that.
