Oh, yes, and for god's sake--multi-chaptered fics should be tagged with a tag that includes the name of the fic so I don't have to browse every chapter of every story of that pairing to find the next one, should you have no good "next" button. Also, cut tags are good. I have been reading too much badfic, and way too much fic where the entire chapter is just *there* in their LJ. People with them on their friends lists must hate them.

Oh, hell yes. I'm also fond of master posts that have links to all chapters.

Master posts, especially when they're in sticky posts, are wonderful.

But, seriously, someone took the time to replace "Read More" with "&"?! And then failed to even put a title on their fic?

rusalki? does round up master posts, which is nice, but you still have to wade through every SPN tag to find them.

I ran across it in the midst of a discussion about how Misha's wardrobe might be changed next year if he's made the arc villain (rather than instantly back to status quo or exploded), and that look - minus actual wings - would get my vote.

While it probably wasn't the artist's intent, my first thought on seeing that c_d_l picture was "oh, God, I want that bistro set!"

Hah! She had another one of Cas and Anna that inspired a similar feeling in me re: the wallpaper in the background. (Though it would stick out like a sore thumb in my current apartment, and would have been perfect for the last one.)

ETA: Also, I am totes going shopping tomorrow for a brown silk or silk-like vest, as I have similar coloring apart from the eyes and could rock that look.

And it turns out this person's master post leaves out the last three chapters of a thirty chapter fic. So I had to do the hunting work myself to find them.

That having been said, my master post is for crap, but I'm not providing chaptered work. You don't have to look at my stuff in sequence. You can just filter through tags perfectly simply.

But I do need to update it.

Things that make no serious sense that ping me in fic--teetotaller Dean is one of them. I dunno, I guess it made sense in the context of the story, but it just felt like the author was criticising the text. And she's done others where she's cleaned him up before too.

Love Dean, love at least the occasional beer, is my motto.

I've only read one fic where Dean swore off alcohol, and that was Equinox where he had a vague year to save Cas' life, and didn't want to be impaired for it.

I was reading somewhere, and a comment was that not until this finale did they start to ship D/C. I don't know if they meant both eps, or just the last, but it's funny how drastically different people react to things. People holding on tightly to an idea being turned off, and people having no idea that that idea existed suddenly glomping onto it.

But, if Cas must be the Big Bad, he so needs new threads.

I get kinda defensive about the idea that Dean's impaired now. He is unhealthy, but He's got a pretty killer groove going.

I think gedry's cleaned him up at least twice now. Once with AA.

I tend to get an aura of "I'm a much better Dean than the canon Dean, see? No drinking." Maybe they'll also have him stop consuming porn?

It's akin to me getting twitchy when they make him gay.
