apparently he has some way of transporting/transfiguring them along with himself
Well, we know they make briefcases that can carry them.
I'm not saying they don't go through him--I'm just saying we have no evidence that they do. It could be for the weapons Balthazar was holding and they just feed into that, or he could be amping himself up. Remains to be seen.
when Cas was interrogating the Jefferson Starship in the jail cell, he was effectively human
What I liked about that moment was that Bobby looked at him like "But what can you do?" And then...he did what he could do. Because he's hardcore like a boss.
Interesting that the angels had to turn to Dean for interrogating a captive in Season 4, and now one of them is apparently better at it than Crowley.
ETA: I just read that Lauren Cohan's lawyer/angel pilot that sounded like a SPN spinoff wasn't picked up by the CW.
New marketing poster.
Neither was the zombie hunting sisters pilot.
Man, it is weird watching Castiel and Donna from That 70s Show have sex with each other and terrorize victims.
The movie Misha said not to watch. Karla.
I can't even begin to contemplate Cas' fate, where the show might go with him. I'm all nerves and nausea. I think that I agree, though, that the best scenario is some situation rendering Cas human. Maybe a big sacrifice, or a "back from the dead one last time, now don't fuck it up, because it's for real next time: you're mortal now". And recurring guest star is fine, because, honestly, that's what he's been as a regular cast member, RL baby or no. And it takes the pressure off of how to fit him into the story, and how to depower him so he isn't always the deux ex machina. And has endless potential story-wise.
And so, they'll just kill him. Maybe after he's been human for an hour.
Thank god I'm overwhelmed with work, or I'd be an insane mess.
Sam, Dean, love you, but you are SHOW, not worried so much 'bout you.
He looks like the Sam from Dean's version of the story in Tall Tales.
How can a fic be 5,000 words long and be PG? Is there no swearing? No punching of fists? Show isn't PG. Fic shouldn't be PG. What is this nonsense?
Eh, Raiders of the Lost Ark was PG and that had death-by-propeller and people's faces being melted off. I don't think fists raise the ratings bar unless they're being used for something other than punching.
