This isn't a come-on. I'm in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

And isn't Heathcliff the one who killed puppies? Is that really a character with whom to identify?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Really? First it's "ewwww, het has cooties," and then it's "keep it in the family where it belongs, people"?

Well, more like "ewww, Teh Gay has cooties," but yeah.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

And we all know how well that ended for everyone.

Exactly. Also, what Calli said.

Because books.

Heathcliff is indeed that guy, Calli.

So we're off next week, and then the final two episodes back to back the week after, right?

Thank god there's a seventh season, because two more episodes would not be enough (for me).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm chafing already at no ep next week, but Smallville will have Lex so I may watch that finale for old time's sake. It's been forever since I liked that show.

I'm kinda sad we're not getting a proper two hour event (like AHBL would have been, except why not kill us with a cliffhanger), but two eps in one night is wicked cool, even if it's the end for now.

Author still hasn't contacted me. Waiting for the reveals? I dunno.

Because books.

Waiting for the reveals? I dunno.

Why would you, though?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Look, the alternative is that THEY HATE ME. So let me have my straws, okay?

Actually, I suppose all sorts of things like real lives can get in the way, but whatever. All about me.

I did see some people referring to waiting though, so I figured it's one of the most neutral interpretations.

Amy - May 08, 2011 4:05:42 pm PDT #19657 of 30002
Because books.

I'm quite sure no one hates you, dear.

I don't remember at all how that works, so I'm just clueless.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

ita, I sympathize. I sent my story to my artist yesterday and I haven't heard a peep.

I keep telling myself that a) the story is long and b) a lot of people are busy this weekend.

Amy - May 08, 2011 4:16:58 pm PDT #19659 of 30002
Because books.

Now I'm itching to know which story is yours, Anne. I thought I had it narrowed down to one of two, based on unclaimed prompts when you posted about it, but then you got claimed!
