Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think this vid might be responsible for me listening to my first Justin Bieber song. But for D/C crack, it was worth it.

J2_SPN claim posts are going up. I'm so nervous. None of the D/C looks appealing to me, and neither do the rarepairs. The gen I liked the most goes on about colour in the visual details, so that's not me.

I HATE THIS.

Back soon, obsessing.

Because books.

I see two other gen you might do, though.

I grabbed a cracky gen AU. This better work out. I feel much more adrift than for the Gabriel big bang. That seemed much easier to pick out. And of course, it worked out so well. I loved my author.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

The one you picked looks like a lot of fun, ita.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting impatiently for someone to pick my story. I am currently convinced that:

  • It will be the last to be picked
  • The mods will have to BEG someone to pick it up after all the other fics have been claimed
  • The artist will hate my story
  • I will hate my artist

I'm fairly sure that everyone else who hasn't been picked yet is feeling much the same way.

I really felt like I couldn't tell them apart. I think I picked what I did because there wasn't anything in the description that I thought I couldn't do (although I'm now processing the sci-finess of it...der), and it had a large cast.

It's hard to say what will grab an artist's eye. It's certainly random as shit.

Because books.

I hope I can write one next time around. I miss writing fic.

I can't imagine how you'd choose, honestly, other than weeding out the Do Not Want. Total sensory overload.

Anyhow, I got picked! Off to stalk my artist-to-be...

I'm learning that apparently people make arrangements beforehand and pretend they're picking blind.

I feel a sense of moral superiority that I didn't do that.

Then again, watch me have a miserable experience and come back next year and only illustrate Buffista stories.

I can't imagine how you'd choose, honestly, other than weeding out the Do Not Want.

Honestly? I started by reading all the D/C and passing on it because it sounded scary to draw, and then to the gen, and started wondering if the authors would hate me, and then I panicked and picked one who mentioned characters I liked. No doubt my author has never heard of me and is wondering what they're going to do with a black and white artist who draws D/C bondage and schmoop.

Man, I at least wish this had happened after the spn_cinema posting. It's not my best work, but it does make me look a bit more diverse, I think. But I don't post until next Friday.

Author? Call me!

Because books.

I felt really guilty that with the BB I bailed on, I got a photoshop artist. I was so disappointed. Which wasn't the reason I bailed, but I wanted real art so much.

Which must sound terribly snobbish to people who shop stuff for fun, but it's just not what I wanted, when there are so many fabulous traditional artists out there.
