Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sometimes I want to sit people down and tell them that the fact he's in love with Genevieve isn't the obstacle to them getting together with Jared. That it's bigger than all that, and they should let it go. But I'm sure they're sufficiently unhinged that that conversation wouldn't penetrate.

Honestly, I like the people I'm fans of to be happy. It's not really complicated math. The idea that they're pining and lonely to facilitate my lustful thoughts and idle dreams? It's like most shipping. You'd be making shit up anyway.

Because books.

Exactly. I think it's a really lovely thing that the guys not only found a good friend in each other, but have found love and gotten married all during the run of this show that requires them to work crazy hours for, what, three quarters of the year?

Hating on a wife or girlfriend because it means it's not you? A level of unrealistic that's really unsettling to witness.

If it's meant to be, he'll leave her for you anyway.

It always happens that way.

Because books.

Meanwhile, After School Special is on, and I just want to smish them both.

Smart, principled Sammy with his angst and his eyes opening thanks to his teacher, and Dean, with his two jobs, protecting Sam and looking for affection wherever he can find it. BOYS.

Read all the way down to the poll. Oh, fandom, you so crazy. Seriously. Crazy.

Okay, this is somewhat insanely cute. Baby pudge! But I have a de-aging weakness.

Because books.

So weird -- if I hadn't read the tags, I would have assumed that was Dean and Cas's magical angel baby, and I have no idea why.

You MPREG fledgling freak. I didn't even know. I'm so disappointed.

I'm so ashamed. I don't even read it, I swear!

Misha tweets:

I have good news & bad news. The good news is the reality show I like about the two brothers who take acid & hunt ghosts gets a 7th season.

the bad news is... brace yourselves... they were out of my fleur de sel carmel ice cream at the grocery store just now. I am beside myself.
