Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It talks about what Eve's been doing in her spare time, so don't click if you don't want to know ahead of time.

Cafe de labeill sketches. My god, she's got an amazingly consistent grasp of form and space. You look at my random sketches, and their necks and shit are all over the place. I'm sure she's only sharing what's best, but still. It's unfinished, and it looks great.

I love her girl!Cas.

Man, I just stan her so much, even if my vision of Cas is much darker than hers is. Though, really, you couldn't tell that from my pictures. I should do a lot of BAMF shit to make it clear I don't only think of schmoopy D/C.

I...just...it's fun to draw.

Problem with euclase is that she's so good, it makes me picky about the teeniest thing. I'd be happy to have my Sam look like that, but that's not really Jared's body.

Because books.

I'm only confused by the one woman at the bottom of the cafe de labeil link -- it looks like the girl from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame. The other girls are clearly Dean or Cas or whoever.

I love her chibis so much.

I think that's Esmerelda, based on her tags.

Oh! So it is the Disney character. Confusing.

euclase still ... I don't know if irritates me is the right word. Some of her stuff is great, but some of it is so photo-realistic, like the one tiggy linked, it doesn't even look like art to me. I guess I don't get doing the art without putting something of your own interpretation on it.

I am of multiple minds wrt euclase. She's insanely insanely talented, but she's only intermittently expressive. I'm not sure if she's trying and failing, or she's not trying, but apart from some pictures where she tweaks the likenesses for sadness, she doesn't often seem to be telling any sort of story or setting up a situation.

That having been said, I'd love to have her talent instead of mine.

I don't know. She's got that "too pretty, too perfect" thing going on a lot of the time for me. I'd rather see the artist's expression than what could be a photocopy. (That's overstating it, but the point remains.)

GUH. I wish this could have been the aired tag to "Frontierland."
