I wish we'd seen the Phoenix rising from its own ashes, as that's rather the point.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Were those feathers or ash that we saw floating in the air after Cas kills Rachel?
Also, did I jump to the wrong conclusion last night about Cas getting powered up by the souls as his regrettable thing, or is there something more to come? Because leaving Bobby tuckered out doesn't seem to be it.
I'm also still stuck on how it seemed a big deal here, but not with Sam or the little boy.
I'm pretty sure we don't know what the Big Wrong Thing Cas has been doing is (and I'm ready for the show to stop hinting, personally)
I think a big difference was that, here, the only point was to give Cas his 5x healing, whereas in those other cases, it was, in some way at least, for the good of the person whose soul was being felt up: examining a clue, more or less.
I'm stuck on the "I could blow you up by touching your soul" and there was Cas, twice before, jamming his hand in for investigative purposes, without any thought given to "hey, if their soul happens to be where it should be, maybe I should be careful and give a warning as to the dangers". He didn't know that the souls were NOT there the first two times.
The kid's soul was there, just promised to Balthazar later, right? And Cas wasn't taking any of it, just examining it. Maybe it's the taking some that creates an explosion danger.
My memory was that Aaron's soul was there, just pledged to Balthazar. And one of the times he went into Sam Sam's soul was definitely there--it's why he went in.
Yeah, like Amy says, the first two times Cas was doing something different--he was interrogating the souls. This time he was leaching it. Why couldn't there be a different set of dangers associated?
Dude. That is all kinds of awesome.
The baby looks like he's wrapped in a flag or something. Probably a small country Misha's invaded.
