Carver's writing for Being Human now? I should be watching that.
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
It takes a little time to warm up. I just read that the cast was asked to dial down the chemistry in the first few eps, which certainly explains a bit of awkwardness. But it's standing on its own now, separate from the British version.
Jensen on the Western ep:
"I sent a picture to my father [from this episode], and he wrote back, ‘You've been rehearsing this scene since you were six.' I get to have, like, a high noon shootout, we get to see a hanging...We packed a lot into a 42-minute episode. It's really good."
I did read somewhere that it might not be the episode they come back from break with, which would be kind of frustrating.
Are those gen? In this crazy fandom, why would you make recs without specifying pairings or lack thereof? There are so many people that squick or barf at the wrong thing, or are completely bored by gen or het.
I would call them gen, yes.
No Cas, but non-icky.
What does that mean?
NC14 for violence. Gen. No pairing. Schmoop.
Sorry for the ambiguity. I'll try to be more specific in future.
I wasn't criticizing you--just wondering what the reccer was sharing and not sharing. Unless the context of the poster makes it obvious, I'd think pairings and ratings would be standard things to include in a rec post.
Cold PBR:
Haha! I said Peanut Butter and....relish? And then read Julie's reaction. I'm disturbed that two of us came up with such a yucky combination. Maybe it's not yucky though. I have peanut butter and I have relish. Nawww.
Pabst Blue Ribbon! And yes, I need to drink more.
Unless the context of the poster makes it obvious, I'd think pairings and ratings would be standard things to include in a rec post.
Do we have a standard rule for fic recs? I wouldn't think to say anything unless there was something to warn about. A general, non-wincest, non nc-17, story wouldn't generate the need to say anything else, I would think.
