Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

That takes my breath away... and 10 hours' work?

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

First off, I like how Dean went straight to kill Sampa. I like that Show kept him committed to his threat. I like that Dean a lot. But I also like how Sam could inch him down from it. Not change his mind, but stall him.

I love how Sam had his gun on anyone but Dean when everyone had their guns on Dean. Impossible odds, but who cares?

I love the broccoli communication between the two of them when Sampa left the room. I love Dean stepping in front of Sam to protect him. Love Dean assuring Sam that he did the right thing, even though he didn't untie him right away. Love them smashing the door in together. Love the explanation of earned family. Love the explanation of blanket forgiveness.

All of this, Yes.

I love that they're back to be so in synch with each other, but aren't being dumb about it (Dean's faith and pragmatism).

?: Do the airdates roughly reflect the dates in the eps? Is that an okay assumption?

I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night.

I think this author (rainylemons) has been mentioned before but this is the first one of hers that I can't get out of my head. Frankly, Castiel on the show has always seemed a bit like a plot device but this one - this one seems real.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

hah, I thought he said "con" worm as well, and made my own "wrath of Khan" joke completely obliviously.

Dr. Wrath O. Khan, please pick up the nearest courtesy phone!

I totally heard Khan. I'm not sure what that says about nerdery, because I would swear I'm not a Trek fan. I mean, I haven't seen every episode of Enterprise.

Gabriel Big Bang posting starts today. Including my stuff. Yikes. I had a really good time doing it, but now everyone else can see it. Scary.

CC said Khan, I assumed Star Trek reference.
