Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can pretend that nothing bad actually happened

Hah! You know it was entirely a tragedy.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

sigh ... my TV was refusing to get the SPN channel last Friday. Most annoying.

Because books.

Aw, Todd. That sucks.

Jensen's trending on Twitter today, because it's his birthday, I guess?

Pudding:

Apparently I do share my SPN love with everyone I know. My editor saw the NY Times piece and tweeted that she thought of me immediately.

I read the pinkraygun review of The French Mistake, and it's really weird. She's caught up in what may or may not be an in joke (does Kripke have a fantasy about dying in a Western shootout?) and claims ignorance on a lot of things (what's the title of the guy who sits in the chair and yells cut?) yet knows the names of Jared's dogs.

Why do I keep going back?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Because you like to torment yourself?

She might say something useful someday. Instead of spelling Clif and Vergil wrong, and writing ad museum (seriously, is that supposed to be cute?). It could happen, right? I swear, I used to not dislike her.

I really wonder if someone who doesn't pay attention to fandom really cared that there might have been references they didn't get. As far as I can tell, she should have gotten more than she did (she's a reviewer who has no idea what ratings mean, how much the show is viewed, or how to spell Nielsen?) and is pissed at the show about it.

Bah! Misha and Jared play Words With Friends. For high stakes.
