Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Heyerdahl is such an amazing onscreen presence. I'm glad there'll be more opportunities to watch his work.

I agree with tiggy about Jim. Never met the man, but from everything I've read, nobody has a bad word to say about him. And while people often don't say bad stuff, the way they say good stuff is a real big clue to their meaning, if it's negative. None of that from anybody about The Beav.

I just read that we will be seeing all of the remaining episodes of SPN without another hiatus. Woo hoo!

Because books.

Where'd you read that?!

This is the last I had heard. Where did you find the update, mellenbal?

Here it is. It's a spoiler site, but the first paragraph doesn't spoil.

For those who don't wish to go to the site, it's BuddyTV and here is the first paragraph:

"Supenatural is almost back and, finally, season 4 will air straight through until the very end. After countless off-and-on scheduling flaws, the next four Thursdays will feature four new episodes of Supernatural leading up to the exciting season 4 finale on May 14 (despite early rumors that the show might have another break before the finale, we've confirmed that it's not true)."

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Unspoiled at this moment other than EW article, which really were general and I take with a grain of salt. I plan on spoiling myself by clicking on the links either later tonight or tomorrow.

Half way through Jim's book and I had to put it down, not out of boredom, but my gut needs a respite to unknot. I am amazed at his candor. He pretty much put it all out there without glorifying himself or fixing any of his blemishes. I recommend it because he is a talented writer, no question, but it is an emotional book.

Now back to my SPN world. Clicky clicky.

Okay, so I didn't click on the links. I probably will at some point, but at the moment, I just don't feel the need to look ahead of the story. My mood is subject to change at any moment.

Finished Jim's book. It was a great tribute to Cecily Adams (I didn't know she was Moogie from ST:DS9) and to the survivor's journey after losing a loved one. But definitely have something fun planned afterward to lift your spirits.

Because books.

Both boys have grown beards on hiatus. Pictures from the Sydney con this weekend. [link]

I'll be over here with my jaw on the floor.

Thanks for the pics, Amy! You know, I'm typically not into beards, but ::thud::

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Oh, yummy...
