This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Interesting that whatever weapons Castiel now has counterbalance Raphael's advantage in personal power. But why let her go? It's pretty clear that nothing less than destroying her utterly is going to make her abandon the fight long-term. Castiel would have been smarter to smite first and proclaim his tactical advantage to the surviving minions.

Unless he was bluffing...

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

That was odd. Unless Cas is hoping to end the civil war with the least amount of deaths? Like, maybe he can sway Raph's folowers to his side now that he has the weapons, and that will cause Raph to capitulate?

the ep as a whole was highly uneven, some funny bits, but it was too much. I was thinking fondly of Hollywood Babylon more often than not, where there were real characters as well a crack. I kinda want to segregate the first and last five minutes from the middle.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I watched it with two non-fans (because I wasn't going to not watch) and they looked fairly bored. I enjoyed myself thoroughly but I did feel as if I was pleasuring myself in a way that no one else was able to enjoy.

I'm going to keep this episode to watch over and over though. I love that Cliff just assumed it was illegal and even if it wasn't the boys would lie about it. Loved Misha's tweeting. All the "real" people getting killed was a little jarring for me.

At least J2 are talking to each other.

Because books.

Misha actually tweeted what he did in the show, too:

Misha Collins

Ola mishamigos! J2 got me good. Really starting to feel like one of the guys.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Misha, misha, misha. I must go tweet to him.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Also I love that they used "J2" in the show.

Because books.

And they killed him! The attractive crying man!

I thought that was a riot. Very inside jokey, since I don't know if casual viewers know what kind of friendship the Js have, but it was also a nice backdrop for Sam's last line.

I ... found myself not caring very much about the actual plot. This was a twisted love letter to fandom and the show and the actors and the crew, and they clearly had a really good time with it. Jared's Mansion of Glam and Ego was frigging priceless.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Wasn't it though? I found myself looking for things like the Warhol paintings, then the portrait of him riding the horse. Even if only the crew had a really good time, it felt like it was a well deserved moment of fun for them.

Yeah, this goes on the list of episodes not to show people to convert them to the Show. Not because I didn't love it and give my stamp of approval, but you had to be very invested in order to get half of the stuff that was going on.

I retweeted the attractive crying man because he seemed like the kind that would need that feedback.

Because books.

And the running joke about it being S6, like, eh, fuck it. Awesome.

Was Sera in the credits, as in was that really her on the phone?

Also the crack about "what kind of a douchebag names a character after himself?" Heh. I bet they had SO much fun with that script.

Also, Balthazar is hot. He needs to come back more often. And pat Dean on the arm. Hee.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Balthazar sets the screen on fire. He needs to come back and suddenly be shirtless with a shirtless Sam.

The moment the actor got out of the car I yelled, "Eric!" What a great job with his mannerisms. Also how very Kripke to watch himself being blown away in slow motion. I strongly believe he was enjoying himself when he saw that. What did they say his new series was called? Octo---?

I haven't heard yet if that was really Sera. I assumed it was a voice actress.
