I'm not getting the "worse episode ever!" reaction over on IO9.
It's the most disappointed I've seen Annalee since I started reading her recaps, but she clearly loves the show. I don't blame her, it was just surprising because I didn't think the episode was that uneven.
But I rewatch Route 666 and even Bugs. And all of S3! I take Winchesters however I can get them, apparently.
I don't know why I'm still trying so hard to polish up Show for bon. We're past the first Winchester date stage. But we stack a lot of TV in each evening (I think we did 4 eps of SPN and 4 of The Wire), so I want to get the most bang for the buck.
I can totally see FFing someone through S3. I just get sucked in by an earnest!Sam expression or Dean being angsty and then I can't look away.
But for bon, I might skip a couple of that season to get to the meatier goodness of S4. I'm so glad she's enjoying it! Come to the Winchester side, people! It's angsty and pretty and delicious, and we have rock salt and tears. Sometimes together.

I feel like I'm cheating on my bon rewatch if I go back further than S5. Silly.
Someone on IO9 was arguing that MBV was one of the worst SPN eps ever. !!!??! When I called him on it, he admitted he hadn't watched the whole thing.
In one scenario I'm surprised by the answer, because of the episodes that are bad...but if you turned off during the hugging scene, you can't back up your opinion with much.
