Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's a weird HS AU right now that looks like it's doing something with angelic lore, so Cas might be BAMFy (and the S/G looks platonic, thankful--but I resemble the implication Sam needs more brothering than Dean). But I can only think of one recently where Cas was actually cool (within the HS cool--scaramouche's Cas was cool too, and could land a punch, but still outcast) and Dean was not popular.

500 Miles came on on my drive home tonight, and the vid has made it such a SamandDean song for me. I couldn't possibly platonically ship this two harder. I'm so glad they're back on the same page now. I mean, Sam has his soul back. Dean's lie was exposed. Dean's begrudgingly admitted that Sam's choice of making amends is something he'd do, and judging from the trailer, whatever cracks we saw at the end of the last episode, Sam is walking around this week. So it seems to be a gradual issue with the wall, not an all or nothing.

Looks like Meg (Miner, not Aycox) is going to be on Criminal Minds tomorrow. They're really racking up the SPN ladies.

I want Samantha Ferris next!

Because books.

Jensen talks about his new dog, Oscar. Be prepared to sniffle.

OMG, that even got to me. And I have no heart.

On the truly shallow tip: good god, Jensen. What nice forearms you have. And Jared, you're so cute, with the butting, and the insky.

Unrelatedly, it occurs to me that while I might be able to move past the Samulet, when I try I get caught up on the voicemails in 4.22. The boys are doing so much better now. I get that they won't be perfect, and I don't even want it, but those two rift thingies suck.

Because books.

"Oscarus!" "God bless you." "I don't like this story!" He likes to be included, clearly.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Awwww. That was sniffle inducing indeed.

Jared is Jensen's third puppy.

And Jensen totally sounded like a superhero there. "I shall save him."

:sniff:

Aw, yes! I loved that he was matter-of-fact about it; Oscar is clearly theirs because he can afford to treat him and raise him, so it all worked out.

Meanwhile Jared is trying not to cry when Jensen's talking about how a lot of people put those puppies down.

The two of them! I swear, you couldn't make this stuff up.

I get why people write RPF/RPS about them. It still squicks me, but they are so fun together the urge to continue/explore/deepen that makes a lot of sense.

This looks like an interesting challenge. I already did one fusion pic for a dA competition, and now I have no ideas left.
